The Jaspers Boys are Still HERE

The past few weeks have been pretty crazy around here. We have all taken our turns of being sick. I don't know how many doctor appointments we have gone to, medicines we have taken, smells we have had to get out of our house, I don't need to go on, but its been a rough few weeks, though I think we are coming out of the woods!

Baby Dedication

I have been wanting to get Hudson dedicated at church for a while but could never seem to plan it around Clint being home Hudson being well and off course dedications Sunday. But today he was finally able to get dedicated. We were able to get a few pictures but it was so crowded that we weren't able to get that many, (Thank you Deidre for taking the pictures!!) Hudson's Grandma the GREAT was able to come for the week to visit and it was great to have her be able to make it to Hudson dedication as well as my family and Clint's mom and all of our other friends from church.

I will be posting some picture soon, (on another camera) from Hudson's first haircut! I don't know why but it was pretty emotional for me. He is getting so big, and turns one on Saturday!!!

Counting down till dad gets home

I was trying to get them all to smile, but this is about as good as it gets. Clint as been gone for about three weeks, and my three boys are counting down till he gets home. Costner is always asking me, how many more days till dad gets home. Clint we all miss you and are looking forward to you coming home on Saturday.

Hudson pictures

Hudson is getting dedicated at church on February 8th, and they need a picture of him, so I was taking a few of him today, and I thought I would share a few. He is getting so big, he was doing so good on trying to sit up like a big boy! We are so proud of him!!!

Hudson's Good News

Good news is that Hudson passed his swallow study on Thursday, and we now have the green light to go ahead and start feeding him by mouth!!! He doesn't like his milk in his bottle but loves apple juice, it does take him a while to drink it, but he will get there. I did give him a baby cookie the other day and he loved it, but he couldn't figure out why his hands were such a mess afterwords. We know it will take a while for him to learn but we are excited to see that he is progressing.

Whats been going on....

The boys went back to school this week, Costner couldn't get there fast enough, he missed school so much. Brooks loves school but has a hard time getting out of the car to get to school, he thinks he doesn't want to go but has such a good time when he gets there, he is such the middle child. Hudson has been doing very good, he has been rolling on the floor, last night he rolled across the floor I was so excited!!! Tomorrow he goes in to have swallow study done so we will be able to know tomorrow if he is still aspirating. Keep him in your prayers, I am hoping that everything will go smoothly, and that we will be able to start feeding him by mouth!!! And lastly the other boy of the house, Clint he has been good, but flys out on Saturday, but just to Oklahoma, so not too far.

Things have been busy around here and I had forgotten to post a few more pictures from Christmas. The boys have had so much fun playing with all their new toys, though they got so much I had to put some up for later. Their favorite things to play with are their new Wii games and their Nintendo DS, though Brooks doesn't really know what he is doing but he is trying.

On a different note Hudson is doing so good. This past week he drank an ounce of apple juice out of his bottle (I got a bit teary eyed). I gave him a bottle today and he drank 3 1/2 ounces, Clint and I were so excited!!! He has never drank that much by mouth EVER!!!! 2009 is going to be a great year for him!!!
